The former cowshed

The house

The shed was rebuilt from scratch, but not smoothed over: beams, the wooden grille and the listed stone walls stayed, and now stand in the middle of the living space.

Everything on one level — not a single step between sleeping, cooking and the terrace.

The larger of the two, with a wardrobe and a full-length mirror. Above the headboard the stone wall of the old shed lies exposed, with a timber ceiling above.

The coat rack is built from the old shed gate, wooden bars and fittings included. In front of it a leather bench for your hiking boots.

Common questions

How many people does the apartment sleep?

Up to four. There are two bedrooms, each with one large bed 1.80 metres wide.

Is the apartment on the ground floor?

Yes. Bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and living room are all on one level, and so is the entrance from outside.

Is there Wi-Fi?

Yes, throughout the apartment.

Can we bring a dog?

No, sadly we cannot take dogs.

Are there a washing machine and a dryer?

Yes, both. On a walking holiday and in winter that is worth more than it sounds.

We are travelling with a small child — what is provided?

A high chair is ready for you. We have no further equipment for children, so please plan for that.

Where exactly is the sauna?

In the garden, not inside the apartment. It is a small Finnish sauna for one person at around 70 degrees, and it will be ready when letting begins.
